Welcome to Our Website!
Welcome to the 'virtual home' of the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center! We are located on the beautiful campus of the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital in historic Boston.
As a specialized research center funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, we welcome you to learn more about the extensive research, training and outreach programs that we offer, and we hope that you will join us in our efforts to discover effective treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer's disease.
As an introduction, we invite you to view a brief, animated video (with music by Rudy Tanzi, PhD, our Genetics and Biomarkers Program Director) on the effects of Alzheimer's disease on the brain.
We also welcome you to visit the website of our affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital's (MGH) Morris K. Udall Center of Excellence for Parkinson's Disease. Permission has been granted to the MGH's Udall Center to use, reproduce and adapt all original contents from the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center's website.
