The RN Residency: Transitioning to Geriatrics and Palliative Care Program

This program is sponsored by the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Center for Innovations in Care Delivery and is now accepting applications from all registered nurses at the MGH. The program will be held from January 19 - 21, 2010, plus 1 day per month through June 2010.

According to the MGH Center for Innovations in Care Delivery, the program is the first of its kind in the United Sates, and provides registered nurses to lear and apply current, evidence-based geriatric and palliative nursing knowledge and innovative patient care delivery methods. The program consists of a combination of didactic teaching and clinical experience to enhance the quality of nursing care to older adults and their families.
