Rapidly Progressive Dementia and Subacute Encephalopathies: Diagnosis and Management

This course is sponsored by the University of California, San Francisco's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, and will present the latest cutting-edge diagnostic techniques for rapidly-progressive dementia such as Jakob-Creutzfeldt disease (CJD). An overview of prion disease will be covered, in addition to topics on HIV dementia, autoimmune diseases, delirium and infectious encephalitis.
