Planned and sponsored by the Ethics in Clinical Practice & Diversity Committees of the Massachusetts General Hospital Patient Care Services Department. The Massachusetts ADRC administrator, Liang Yap, PhD, sits on the planning subcommittee of this event.

This event will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Pre-registration is required.

The purpose of this symposium is to increase knowledge about the interaction between ethics and diversity in health care in order to promote the best possible patient outcomes and to reduce moral distress among providers. All clinicians who are interested in health care ethics are invited to attend.

Continuing Education Credits:

Contact hours will be awarded to nurses. The Massachusetts General Hospital (OH-239/10-01-11) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation
