This event is hosted by the Alzheimer's Association (MA/NH Chapter) and will feature Gerard D. Schellenberg, PhD, as he presents information on the Alzheimer's Disease Genetics Consortium, a $18.3 million, 5-year project funded by the National Institute of Aging to conduct studies that will identify genes associated with an increased risk of developing late-onset Alzheimer's disease.
Dr. Schellenberg is the Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and Head of the Alzheimer's Disease Genetics Consortium.
Registration opens at 6:00pm, and the program begins at 7:00pm. Parking is complimentary, and a coffee/dessert reception will follow the lecture.
