This conference is jointly sponsored by the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and several other organizations.
The purpose of the course is to advance drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Multiple Sclerosis, and is designed to educate scientists on the process of translating basic research into novel therapies.
