Emmy award-winning director and filmmaker, Stu Maddux, is the mastermind behind the powerful documentary Gen Silent, which features the challenges that six lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) seniors face in terms of long-term health care choices.
The keynote speaker for this forum is Ann Hartstein, Secretary of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and the event will be moderated by Gary Bailey, MSW, ACSW, Associate Professor at the Simmons College of Social Work.
A panel discussion will also be held, featuring Len Fishman, CEO of Hebrew SeniorLife, and Lisa Krinsky, LICSW, the Director of the LGBT Aging Project.
Refreshments will be served, and continuing education credits will be provided for nurses and social workers.
