Massachusetts Life Sciences Center 2nd Cooperative Research Matching Grant Program

The Massachusetts LIfe Sciences Center (www.masslifesciences.com) has announced a grant program that seeks to increase industry-sponsored research and facilitate access to scientific discoveries and inventions that will lead to beneficial medical applications.

Investigators at non-profit Massachusetts-based research institutions are eligible to apply for funding of up to $250,000 per year over 2 years, provided they have secured an industry sponsor (that has a presence in Massachusetts) for the research that will match funds on a 1:1 basis.

The deadline for submitting applications is noon on January 28, 2011.
