Imaging Tau, Amyloid, and Neurodegeneration in Typical and Atypical AD

We are seeking People age 40-90 who are diagnosed with typical Alzheimer’s disease, or an atypical form of Alzheimer’s disease including posterior cortical atrophy (PCA) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA). This study examines how the proteins tau and amyloid affect brain regions and relate to symptoms. Participants are asked to attend annual visits involving MRI, amyloid and tau PET scans, and cognitive testing.
