Dr. Gawande publishes frequently in the New Yorker magazine and has recently published a new book entitled The Checklist Manifesto:  How to Get Things Right.

The presentation aims to bring current issues and topies on disparities and health to the local community and will be held from 8:00 - 9:00am.

This event is hosted by the Alzheimer's Association (MA/NH Chapter) and will feature David A. Bennett, MD, as he presents "Reducing Your Risk of Alzheimer's Disease:  Building a Better Brain as We Age". Dr. Bennett is the Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Center at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and is best known for his work in the Religious Orders Study and the Rush Memory and Aging Project.

Registration opens at 6:00pm, and the program begins at 7:00pm.  Parking is complimentary, and a coffee/dessert reception will follow the lecture.
