One of the goals of this education day is to provide support for families to learn more about Frontotemporal Dementias (FTDs), and to educate professionals in the community about the disorders.  A definitive diagnosis can help with care-planning and ensure the welfare and safety of the patient and the family. In order to learn more about these challenging disorders, we are seeking to expand its research efforts dramatically to study all aspects of FTDs. By increasing awareness, we hope that education will help to support research goals.
