2015 Memory Disorders/Alzheimer's Disease Clinical Research Fellowship

The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) is pleased to announce an opening for a two-year Clinical Research Fellowship in AD/Memory Disorders at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and related institutions beginning July 1, 2015.

The goal of the non-degree program is to introduce exceptionally-qualified individuals to the successes and demands of a research-oriented career in the neurodegenerative diseases, and to provide an unparalleled foundation for potential leadership roles in academic medicine or industry.

Call for Applications: 2015-2016 The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory Neuroscience Fellowship Program

The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory (http://picower.mit.edu/) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has issued a Call for Applications for a 1-2 year Collaborative Clinical Neuroscience Fellowship Program for research that will be conducted at the Institute. Among other criteria, applicants must be an MD and/or PhD trainee at a clinical level of 4 years or higher in either the Department of Neurology or Department of Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Call for Applications: 2014 Neurodegenerative Diseases Pilot Study Grants Program

The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Cener, and the MGH Neurological Clinical Research Institute have joined forces to fund the best novel ideas for pilot projects aimed at uncovering and developing effective treatments for neurodegenetive diseases.

Applications are due on Monday, April 21, 2014.

Coins for Alzheimer's Research Trust (C.A.R.T.) Grant

The goal of this fund is to encourage exploratory and developmental research on Alzheimer's disease within the U.S. and is for new projects only. Financial support will be provided for the early and conceptual plans of projects that may not yet be supported by extensive preliminary data but have the potential to advance biomedical research.

2013 Harvard/MIT Joint Research Grant Program in Basic Neuroscience

Call for Proposals: Creative Computational Approaches to Accelerate Drug Discovery for the Treatment and Prevention of Dementia

The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) Program on Aging and Alzheimer's Disease Prevention invites scientists to apply for grants on innovative computational approaches to map disease and predict the efficacy of drugs to treat and prevent dementia. Grants will be provided for one-year duration (up to $150,000 each) with the possibility of follow-on funding. The deadline date for application for this grant is September 5, 2013.

Call for Proposals: Challenge Grant to Accelerate Drug Development for Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

2013 Geoffrey Beene Global NeuroDiscovery Challenge

The Geoffrey Beene Foundation Alzheimer'ss Initiative has announced its second online innovation challenge whose goal is to identify male and female differences in the pathogenesis and presentation of Alzheimer's disease in the pre-symptomatic, early symptomatic and late stages of the disease. The Challenge will require a written proposal and winning submissions will share $100,00 in prize awards.
