23rd Annual Massachusetts ADRC & Boston University ADC Joint Poster Symposium
January 13, 2010 - 8:00am - 11:00am
Members of the Boston-area scientific community are cordially invited to participate in the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center's 23rd annual scientific poster symposium on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 8:00am - 11:00am in the Thier Conference Room at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The event will consist of a three-hour poster session in the Society for Neuroscience (SFN) format.
The Alzheimer's Disease Centers' annual scientific poster symposium showcases the best of local research in Alzheimer's disease. It is a prime opportunity to share research findings with other investigators and to learn what other researchers and their laboratories are doing.
A listing of the abstracts for all the displayed posters are attached.
This year, as part of our poster symposium day, the Massachusetts ADRC has also put together a training course on cultural competency for its staff personnel after the poster session. The program on providing culturally-appropriate care will be held from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Staff personnel of the Boston University's ADC are also invited to attend. A copy of the program's agenda is also attached.
